I've talked to the support reps at Cannon, they claim we have to install the PTP driver but I cannot find any infomation on doing this. Problem is the device (Canon XTi) uses PTP and there are no device drivers for Vista per the Canon support site. I then checked a number of things and noticed that the Microsoft WPD FileSystem Volume Driver has a yellow exclamation mark on it. I originally thought it might be the camera but it worked under other computers. It would make the sound that the hardware was plugged in/un-plugged, but nothing would show up under computer. I recently tried plugging my digital camera (via USB) into my computer and it wasn't recognizing (it was working week(s) before).
